Il compte plus de 340 collaborateurs, 3600 \u00e9l\u00e8ves et pr\u00e8s de 50 m\u00e9tiers. Il r\u00e8gne une activit\u00e9 intense dans le pr\u00e9au et dans le b\u00e2timent principal. Le bureau du directeur se trouve au premier \u00e9tage. Une grande pi\u00e8ce que Rolf Wehren partage avec l\u2019assistant de la direction de l\u2019\u00e9cole Christian Stucky. Dans la salle de r\u00e9union annexe, le Fribourgeois revient sur sa carri\u00e8re professionnelle avec \u00ab\u2009panissimo\u2009\u00bb. Sa passion pour le m\u00e9tier de boulanger, le secteur et les produits est perceptible\u2009: \u00ab\u2009C\u2019est un tr\u00e8s beau travail. On fabrique des produits chaque jour, on obtient un r\u00e9sultat et on procure de la joie tous les jours.\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-virus-boulanger-a-schonried\">Virus boulanger \u00e0 Sch\u00f6nried<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rolf Wehren a \u00e9t\u00e9 infect\u00e9 par le virus boulanger dans son enfance. Il passait en effet une partie de ses vacances scolaires dans le fournil de son parrain, l\u2019artisan boulanger Ernst Wehren, \u00e0 Sch\u00f6nried (BE). A 11 ans, le jeune homme savait d\u00e9j\u00e0 qu\u2019il voulait devenir boulanger. Il a fait son apprentissage dans la boulangerie-p\u00e2tisserie Wehren. Cela ne s\u2019est pas toujours av\u00e9r\u00e9 facile au niveau linguistique, sachant qu\u2019il avait fait son \u00e9cole primaire en Romandie et que l\u2019on parlait le Suisse allemand \u00e0 la maison\u2009; ses parents \u00e9tant originaires de Saanen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019influence de M. Liebi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rolf Wehren a fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9cole professionnelle de Thoune. Cette p\u00e9riode s\u2019est \u00e9galement av\u00e9r\u00e9e marquante pour lui. La fa\u00e7on dont son ma\u00eetre de cours, M.\u202fLiebi, enseignait a en effet impressionn\u00e9 le futur professionnel, qui a pris la d\u00e9cision suivante\u2009: \u00ab\u2009Waouh, je veux moi aussi exercer ce m\u00e9tier un jour\u2009!\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l\u2019apprentissage, Rolf Wehren a travaill\u00e9 en Suisse romande, avant de passer sa ma\u00eetrise dans la boulangerie-p\u00e2tisserie Wehren \u00e0 Sch\u00f6nried en 1989\/90. Il est ensuite retourn\u00e9 en Suisse romande \u2013 pour des raisons familiales \u00e9galement. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, il a envoy\u00e9 une candidature spontan\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019EPAI de Fribourg. La r\u00e9ponse a \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9gative, mais on lui a assur\u00e9 qu\u2019on le recontacterait si un poste se lib\u00e9rait. C\u2019est ce qui est arriv\u00e9 quatre ans plus tard \u2013 on n\u2019avait pas oubli\u00e9 Rolf Wehren. Il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 enseigner au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire 1995\/96.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une p\u00e9riode \u00ab\u2009difficile\u2009\u00bb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 tr\u00e8s charg\u00e9 pour Rolf Wehren\u2009: outre la famille et l\u2019enseignement \u00e0 l\u2019EPAI, il travaillait \u00e9galement comme chef de laboratoire dans la confiserie Baechler \u00e0 Bulle, se pr\u00e9parait pour la maturit\u00e9 professionnelle et assumait encore diff\u00e9rentes fonctions accessoires. Il s\u2019est en outre fortement engag\u00e9 au sein de l\u2019association et de la formation des boulangers-confiseurs (voir encadr\u00e9). \u00ab\u2009C\u2019\u00e9tait une p\u00e9riode difficile\u2009\u00bb, se souvient M. Wehren. \u00ab\u2009Il y avait \u00e9cole le vendredi. Je me levais toujours \u00e0 quatre heures du matin pour faire mes devoirs.\u2009\u00bb Le nombre de le\u00e7ons ne cessant de cro\u00eetre, il est devenu ma\u00eetre cours \u00e0 plein temps en 1999. Il a achev\u00e9 une formation p\u00e9dagogique en 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Elu par le Conseil d\u2019Etat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rolf Wehren a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 doyen en 2014. Il \u00e9tait responsable du service C qui comprend le bois, l\u2019alimentation, la construction second \u0153uvre et la m\u00e9tallurgie. L\u2019ancienne directrice de l\u2019EPAI ayant pris un cong\u00e9 maternit\u00e9 au milieu de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2017, Rolf Wehren a assum\u00e9 la suppl\u00e9ance de son poste. Cette derni\u00e8re ayant donn\u00e9 son cong\u00e9 en septembre, la recherche d\u2019un successeur a commenc\u00e9. Vingt-huit candidatures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9es.
