Le projet est \u00e0 l\u2019initiative du boulanger Olivier Hofmann et de l\u2019agriculteur Elie Grosjean.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis un peu plus d\u2019un mois, des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales panifiables recouvrent le sol de l\u2019ancien stade de foot de la Gurzelen \u00e0 Bienne. Sem\u00e9s en octobre, petit \u00e9peautre (engrain) et seigle cadi seront r\u00e9colt\u00e9s en ao\u00fbt. Cultiver un champ en zone urbaine\u2026 Passionn\u00e9s pour le local et l\u2019artisanat, trois personnes sont \u00e0 l\u2019origine de ce projet. Olivier Hofmann, artisan boulanger \u00e0 Reconvilier (BE), \u00e9tait \u00e0 la recherche de surfaces cultivables. En discutant avec Cyndie Grisel, g\u00e9rante d\u2019une \u00e9picerie qui vend son pain \u00e0 Bienne, il apprend que les \u00e9quipements de la Gurzelen pourraient \u00eatre mis disposition. L\u2019aventure d\u00e9marre et, le 4\u202foctobre, aid\u00e9s d\u2019Elie Grosjean, agriculteur \u00e0 Saules (BE), ils ensemencent 500\u202fm2 (BE)\u2009: \u00b2\/\u2083\u202fde petit \u00e9peautre et \u00b9\/\u2083\u202fde seigle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sol adapt\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le sol conviendrait bien aux vari\u00e9t\u00e9s plant\u00e9es, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 M. Grosjean au micro de \u00ab\u2009TeleBielingue\u2009\u00bb. Ayant accueilli une pelouse de foot, la terre serait pauvre en herbicide et plut\u00f4t sablonneuse. Elle a certainement \u00e9t\u00e9 enrichie en engrais. Toutefois, ces derniers auraient l\u2019avantage d\u2019avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 lessiv\u00e9s\u2009; un bienfait pour l\u2019engrain qui supporte peu les sols riches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au final, la r\u00e9colte devrait donner 300\u202fkg de farine. \u00ab\u2009L\u2019id\u00e9e \u00e9tait plus dans une perspective promotionnelle qu\u2019\u00e9conomique, puisqu\u2019au final la production de c\u00e9r\u00e9ale sera minime\u2009\u00bb, pr\u00e9cise M. Hofmann. Plus concr\u00e8tement, il s\u2019agit avant tout d\u2019int\u00e9resser le public et de le sensibiliser \u00e0 la provenance des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales et \u00e0 la fabrication artisanale d\u2019un pain. La population est d\u2019ailleurs invit\u00e9e \u00e0 se rendre au stade pour voir le champ pousser et participer \u00e0 sa r\u00e9colte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-symboliser-les-deux-equipes-d-un-match\">\u00ab\u2009Symboliser les deux \u00e9quipes d\u2019un match\u2009\u00bb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Quant \u00e0 la forme concr\u00e8te que prendront les fruits de cette moisson, rien n\u2019est d\u00e9finitif. Toutefois, Olivier Hofmann livre quelques pistes\u2009: \u00ab\u2009Nous envisageons un pain de deux couleurs pour symboliser les deux \u00e9quipes d\u2019un match de foot, avec seigle et engrain.\u2009\u00bb Les premiers pains seront certainement cuits \u00e0 Bienne, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la f\u00eate des moissons.
