Mais ce n\u2019est qu\u2019en cinqui\u00e8me ann\u00e9e que j\u2019ai vraiment pris conscience de son importance dans l\u2019alimentation\u2009; un monsieur nous ayant fait un petit expos\u00e9 sur l\u2019importance des glucides en tant que source d\u2019\u00e9nergie, favorisant \u00e9galement le d\u00e9veloppement musculaire. A la suite de son intervention juste avant la pause, nous avons re\u00e7u un d\u00e9pliant et un sandwich dans une bo\u00eete \u00e0 go\u00fbter, que j\u2019avais \u00e9videmment rep\u00e9r\u00e9 d\u00e8s l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du monsieur en question. Enfin une excuse pour manger autant de pain que je le voulais. Apr\u00e8s tout, j\u2019\u00e9tais une jeune fille en pleine croissance, et je devais en avaler beaucoup pour devenir forte et en bonne sant\u00e9\u2009!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je me suis amus\u00e9e \u00e0 choisir des pains que j\u2019aime beaucoup, pour m\u2019accompagner durant les diff\u00e9rentes phases de ma vie. Qui sait, peut-\u00eatre trouverez-vous vous aussi le pain de votre c\u0153ur\u2009! Le pain tessinois et le \u00ab\u2009pantranvai\u2009\u00bb (ndlr\u2009: pain aux raisins) sont deux aliments de base de mon enfance. Je suis s\u00fbre que le premier a \u00e9t\u00e9 le produit phare de bien des go\u00fbters\u2026 En tout cas mes amis et moi avions pour habitude de nous retrouver sur un arbre pour d\u00e9guster quelques rang\u00e9es de chocolat au lait et des petits pains vol\u00e9s dans les cuisines de nos parents. Le \u00ab\u2009pantranvai\u2009\u00bb quant \u00e0 lui a pour moi une histoire plus particuli\u00e8re\u2026 Enfant, j\u2019ai eu beaucoup de probl\u00e8mes oculaires, et c\u2019est apr\u00e8s une visite chez l\u2019ophtalmologue que j\u2019ai eu droit \u00e0 un nouveau go\u00fbter\u2009: un pain aux raisins tartin\u00e9 de beurre\u2009; un vrai r\u00e9gal\u2009!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le premier pain \u00ab\u2009\u00e9tranger\u2009\u00bb\u2009? Une baguette inoubliable, pendant une pause lors d\u2019un voyage en voiture en Camargue (F)\u2009: parfum\u00e9e et croustillante, fourr\u00e9e au brie. Et ce \u00e0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 la miche de pain embl\u00e9matique de la France n\u2019\u00e9tait pas encore connue sous nos latitudes\u2009!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et que dire de la premi\u00e8re focaccia g\u00e9noise d\u00e9couverte \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 24 ans, si diff\u00e9rente des \u00ab\u2009focaccine\u2009\u00bb rondes, \u00e9paisses et grasses que je mangeais durant les pauses \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole secondaire\u2009?<br>Mais le plus important est le premier pain que j\u2019ai fait, en lien avec mes racines du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ma m\u00e8re\u2009: un \u00ab\u2009cottage loaf\u2009\u00bb tr\u00e8s anglais, un pain compos\u00e9 de deux parties superpos\u00e9es originaire du sud de l\u2019Angleterre. J\u2019avais trouv\u00e9 la recette dans un livre anglais, l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 de mes dix-sept ans\u2026 L\u2019ennui qui m\u2019\u00e9touffait alors plus que la chaleur m\u2019avait pouss\u00e9e \u00e0 me plonger dans le monde de la boulangerie.
