Les plus pauvres ne pouvaient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement s\u2019offrir que du pain complet fonc\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A l\u2019\u00e9poque romaine, on trouvait notamment des pains plats simples, des pains gourmands aux \u00e9pices et des pains d\u2019offrande. Les Romains \u00e9taient donc dot\u00e9s d\u2019une riche diversit\u00e9 de pains pour diff\u00e9rents usages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pas-de-pain-sans-grain\">Pas de pain sans grain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le grand Empire romain, l\u2019approvisionnement en nourriture devait \u00eatre suffisant pour tous. Les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales \u00e9taient achemin\u00e9es par bateau depuis l\u2019Afrique du Nord et l\u2019Egypte pour qu\u2019il y ait toujours assez de pain pour tous dans les grandes villes telles que Rome. Dans la ville romaine d\u2019Augusta Raurica, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales des habitants provenaient essentiellement du territoire de la colonie ou de l\u2019actuel Plateau, o\u00f9 l\u2019on pratiquait principalement la culture de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales. Une inscription trouv\u00e9e \u00e0 Kaiseraugst (AG) laisse supposer qu\u2019un grenier \u00e0 bl\u00e9 se trouvait dans la partie inf\u00e9rieure nord de la ville d\u2019Augusta Raurica, pr\u00e8s du Rhin et du port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-obligation-de-rester-au-petrin\">Obligation de rester au p\u00e9trin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Au Ve\u202fmill\u00e9naire av.\u202fJ.-C., les lacustres fabriquaient du pain l\u00e9ger avec du levain. Ce pain ressemblait beaucoup au pain l\u00e9ger que nous connaissons actuellement. Au IVe\u202fmill\u00e9naire av.\u202fJ.-C., l\u2019art de la boulangerie \u00e9tait de bon niveau. Durant son r\u00e8gne, Rams\u00e8s III offrit 6,5\u202fmillions de pains aux temples, ce qui est consid\u00e9rable.
