Depuis 2014, il dirige les organisations de branche CHOCOSUISSE et BISCOSUISSE. Auparavant, Urs Furrer a \u00e9t\u00e9 membre de la direction d\u2019EXPERTsuisse et d\u2019economiesuisse et avocat d\u2019affaires chez KPMG. Il est membre du PLR et r\u00e9side dans le canton d\u2019Argovie. Son entr\u00e9e en fonction est pr\u00e9vue pour le 1<sup>er<\/sup>&nbsp;mai 2024. Il succ\u00e8de au directeur Hans-Ulrich Bigler, lequel a quitt\u00e9 ses fonctions pour raison d\u2019\u00e2ge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abJe me r\u00e9jouis de conduire l\u2019usam au succ\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019avenir \u00e9galement et en collaboration avec ses membres\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Furrer apr\u00e8s son \u00e9lection. Le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019usam, Fabio Regazzi, envisage l\u2019avenir de l\u2019organisation avec optimisme: \u00abSon parcours professionnel, ses comp\u00e9tences professionnelles et sociales, son exp\u00e9rience de direction, ses nombreuses ann\u00e9es d\u2019activit\u00e9 au sein d\u2019associations \u00e9conomiques, sa boussole politique et sa grande int\u00e9grit\u00e9 font de lui la bonne personne au bon moment pour l\u2019usam!\u00bb. Le pr\u00e9sident est convaincu que le directeur d\u00e9sign\u00e9 s\u2019attachera \u00e0 entretenir une bonne collaboration avec les autres organisations \u00e9conomiques et qu\u2019il d\u00e9fendra
