D\u00e8s aujourd\u2019hui et jusqu\u2019au 17 septembre, le public peut appr\u00e9cier le traditionnel menu, sous une tente de plus de 300 places. \u00ab L\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des produits et mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res provient \u00e0 100 % du canton ; y compris le safran des cuchaules \u00bb, indique Yannick Etter, de Terroir Fribourg en charge de l\u2019organisation de la f\u00eate.<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 safran\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019appellation d\u2019origine prot\u00e9g\u00e9e compose le premier des multiples plats \u00e0 \u00eatre servi. La Boulangerie-confiserie du Tilleul a produit les quelque 1000 petites pi\u00e8ces et la moutarde de B\u00e9nichon n\u00e9cessaires au banquet. La maison Suard a fourni pains d\u2019anis, cuquettes, bricelets et autres biscuits. Quant aux g\u00e2teaux du Dzodzet et aux pains, ils sont sortis du fournil de l\u2019enseigne Saudan-<br>Zurbuchen. \u00ab Ces artisans ont notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 choisis pour leur appartenance \u00e0 Terroir Fribourg et leur implantation en ville \u00bb, explique M. Etter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-en-public\">EN PUBLIC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Outre ce festin, de nombreuses animations attendent les visiteurs : ferme en ville, march\u00e9 du terroir, \u00e9monstrations. Le concours de la Cuchaule AOP a lanc\u00e9 les festivit\u00e9s ce matin. Habituellement organis\u00e9e en novembre \u00e0 Bulle (FR), la comp\u00e9tition a exceptionnellement d\u00e9plac\u00e9 candidats et experts dans le chef-lieu du canton. Les Chevaliers du bon pain de la confr\u00e9rie fribourgeoise ont \u00e9valu\u00e9 en public les sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s certifi\u00e9es, avant de leur attribuer une note sur un total de 100 points.
