On me confiait de petites t\u00e2ches, comme couper les fruits pour la tarte \u00e0 la cr\u00e8me d\u2019ananas, moudre le pain rassis pour en faire de la chapelure ou accompagner mon p\u00e8re lors de la tourn\u00e9e du pain. Mais ce que je pr\u00e9f\u00e9rais, c\u2019\u00e9tait aider au restaurant: pr\u00e9parer les menus, servir la client\u00e8le et vivre le quotidien de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mes parents ont dirig\u00e9 la boulangerie pendant plus de 30\u202fans. Ils ont prouv\u00e9 qu\u2019il est tout \u00e0 fait possible de concilier vie professionnelle et vie priv\u00e9e. Les valeurs, la joie et la coh\u00e9sion ont toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 au centre de leurs pr\u00e9occupations. Mes trois fr\u00e8res et moi avons grandi dans cet environnement. Et aujourd\u2019hui, deux d\u2019entre nous, Fabian et Raphael, perp\u00e9tuent l\u2019activit\u00e9 de la boulangerie, qui en est \u00e0 sa sixi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Les \u00e9changes avec eux restent essentiels\u2009: discuter de mani\u00e8re intersectorielle et apprendre les uns des autres, ce qui n\u2019est malheureusement plus une \u00e9vidence de nos jours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00eame si je ne suis jamais devenu boulanger et que je n\u2019aimais pas me lever t\u00f4t, ces exp\u00e9riences m\u2019ont transmis des valeurs qui m\u2019accompagnent encore aujourd\u2019hui: \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent, mettre la main \u00e0 la p\u00e2te, faire confiance, vivre la qualit\u00e9, appr\u00e9cier une \u00e9quipe et avoir le courage d\u2019allier tradition et innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ma famille m\u2019a montr\u00e9 que le succ\u00e8s na\u00eet de l\u2019engagement, de l\u2019amour du m\u00e9tier et de la passion que l\u2019on met dans son travail. La chose la plus pr\u00e9cieuse que je retiens de 175\u202fans de tradition familiale, c\u2019est que les gens sentent quand on fait quelque chose avec passion, que ce soit dans un fournil ou dans un h\u00f4tel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><em>David F\u00fcger<\/em><br><em><sup>Photo: DR<br><\/sup><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>David F\u00fcger<\/strong> a d&#8217;abord suivi une formation de sp\u00e9cialiste en restauration, avant de participer avec succ\u00e8s \u00e0 divers concours nationaux et internationaux, remportant notamment la m\u00e9daille d&#8217;or aux SwissSkills en 2014. Il a ensuite approfondi sa passion pour l&#8217;hospitalit\u00e9 et son expertise \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00c9cole h\u00f4teli\u00e8re de Lucerne, tout en accumulant des exp\u00e9riences professionnelles en Suisse et \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9tranger. Jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 fin 2025, il a occup\u00e9 le poste de Director of Business Development \u00e0 l&#8217;h\u00f4tel Vitznauerhof \u00e0 Vitznau (LU), avant de prendre ses fonctions actuelles de directeur adjoint \u00e0 l&#8217;h\u00f4tel Hermitage, \u00e0 Lucerne, en vue de devenir General Manager \u00e0 partir du mois d&#8217;ao\u00fbt, \u00e0 l\u2019issue d\u2019une p\u00e9riode de formation aupr\u00e8s de l&#8217;actuelle directrice, Ute Dirks. Ayant grandi dans la boulangerie familiale traditionnelle \u00abF\u00fcger\u00bb \u00e0 M\u00f6rschwil (SG), il allie aujourd&#8217;hui encore artisanat, gastronomie et hospitalit\u00e9 moderne.
